Bengal Tiger roars again!
The Bengal tiger aka Saurav Ganguly roared again and scored a majestic 98 in his comeback. Self belief, confidence and fighting against all odds has always been the man's strong points and thats what I believe has pulled him through. [come on guys, we all know how much talented he is as a fielder anyway]The comeback could not have been scripted any better than this and he deserves all the plaudits that he is getting now.
Everything happens for a reason--he was dropped, humiliated and now he has come roaring back and has a even more stronger support.
But again, he just believed in himself and wanted to play for India again. Did he really care what other "experts" were thinking and writing about him? NO.
If he did, he would have turned to an "expert" by now and been seen on TV with a mike in hand.
Thankfully, he listened to only one voice - the inner self!

Do u care??
do u really care wht other ppl think of u??? think about it for a moment...r u the type who wud feel shy being seen with a member of the opposite sex by ur (say) "mami" when tht opposite sex happens to be a "friend."?? or wud u take it in ur stride and introduce ur frnd to ur aunt rather than try to hide ur face? i hav seen ppl who want to hav fun in life and can't take consequences and also the types who jus dont care...i know tht i belong to the second group...u might think i am inconsiderate but if i really did care about everyone i wud end up pleasing everyone but myself..y wud i want to do tht when the only person who will be with me thru out my life is no one but me!!! this reminds me of one of my fav songs..."i walk a lonely road" by green day.....listen to it even if belong to the first category!
if u think i am crazy well..then as i said earlier...i dont care!;-)

Adieu Warne, McGrath...
It is already a week since Warne and McGrath played their last days of Test cricket for Australia. Australia has always had replacements ready for most players who are either out of form or about to retire. We thought Bevan can never be replaced, but they hardly seem to miss him from the outfit with the introduction of the ever-flexible Mike Hussey. In fact we did not think it was possible to replace even Ian Healy, but they got an even better deal with Gilchrist. They always seem to have someone ready. But I believe it is difficult even for Australia to find someone to fill up Warne's shoes.
He was a total entertainer with his magical wrist and a true Aussie attitude. He might not be a role model, but do you think he wanted to be one? I don't think so. He lived life his way and I bet he has no regrets about it.
However you look at it, he will always be remembered as one of the greatest bowlers of all time, if not the greatest.

Thank you Shane!

Interesting lines!
"You or nobody, ain't NEVER gonna hit as hard as life...
but it ain't about how hard you hit, it's about how hard you can GET HIT, and keep moving forward,
how much you can take, and keep moving forward,
if you know what you're worth, go out and get what you're worth, but you gotta be willing to TAKE THE HIT"
--From the latest Rocky Balboa movie
"Don't let anyone tell you that you can't do something. If you want something, go get it..."
--From the movie Pursuit of happyness
